5th School on High Energy Physics

The EENP2 supported International School on High Energy Physics is being held  at Zewail City from 14 to 19 November 2015 in collaboration
with the Insitut National de Physique Nucléaire et de Physique des Particules (IN2P3), France  and  the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica
Nucleare (INFN), Italy.
The School aims at providing extensive courses on the basic topics of theoretical, computational and experimental particle physics for
Egyptian and regional graduates. The goal of this school is to promote physics education in Egypt and help increase interest in physical
sciences among Egyptian youth” At the opening,  Dr. Paolo Sabbatini and Dr. Louis Moreau, representatives of Italian and  French Embassies have given their
greeting to the students and lectures.
Prof. P. Fassnacht form CERN gave a brief review of the CERN international laboratory and prof. John Ellis gave a public lecture on theoretical physics perspectives
